Warm up - Chatting with ss: Can you name some countries by English? Among the counties over, which are in Asia? - Introduce the new lesson Activity 2. New form of knowledge skills - Ask students to look at the postcard and the sentence in it: Greetings from Bangkok! Now answer the questions: Where is Bangkok? In Thailand. What do you know about Thailand? Thailand is a country in Asia. - Now you are going to listen a conversation between Hoa and Ba and answer the question: Which places her uncle flew to? Play the tape and ask students to name places that are in the tape. - Play the tape again and name the places: Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, Phnom Penh, Vientiane and Yangon. - Have students read these names. - Play the tape again and ask students to read after the tape while listening. - T explains new words Occasionally (adv): thỉnh thoảng, đôi khi Album (n): quyển sổ giữ ảnh, tem thư Fly (v): bay Pilot (n): phi công exciting/excited (adj): hào hứng *Grammar Review present simple tense S + V/ V(s/es) S + do/ does + not + Vinf.
