Activity 1. Warm up
- Chatting with ss: Can you name some countries by English? Among the counties over, which are in Asia?
- Introduce the new lesson
Activity 2. New form of knowledge skills
- Ask students to look at the postcard and the sentence in it: Greetings from Bangkok! Now answer the questions:
Where is Bangkok? In Thailand.
What do you know about Thailand?
Thailand is a country in Asia.
- Now you are going to listen a conversation between Hoa and Ba and answer the question: Which places her uncle flew to?
Play the tape and ask students to name places that are in the tape.
- Play the tape again and name the places: Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, Phnom Penh, Vientiane and Yangon.
- Have students read these names.
- Play the tape again and ask students to read after the tape while listening.
- T explains new words

- Ask ss to work in pair: practice reading the dialogue
- Call some pairs read aloud in front of class
- T corrects mistakes

- Ask ss to do exercise
- Ss compare their answer with friend
- Call some ss to give answer

Give the corect form of verb in brackets.
