- Introduce the situation through the picture: Nga is talking to Maryam. They are
waiting for Lan outside her school.
- Ask ss to retell the structures to make acquainted to a new friend
- Present the new words
While- Speaking:
- Ask Ss work in pairs to put the dialogue in the correct order.

- Now you use the information in the book and make similar dialogues introducing
yourself to Maryam 's friends
- Ask students to practice in pairs before the class

Pre-listening:
- Hang the pictures on the board and present the situation: Tim Jones’s Mexican pen
pal, Carlo, is visiting the USA . Now they are visiting some places near Tim’s house,
they are both hungry now. They are going to go to a restaurant. Now listen to their
conversation and check the numbers of the correct pictures
- Ask Ss to discuss about the action in each picture
- Give Ss about the action in pictures a1 and a2
While-listening:
- Play the tape ( 3 times)
- Ask Ss to give out their answers
- Remark and give out the correct answers

IV. CONSOLIDATION
Post-listening:
- Ask ss to answer the questions
1.Who was walking on the grass?
