OBJECTIVES 1. Knowledge: - By the end of the lesson ss will be able to: + Listen and read a passage about a pen pal visit for general or detailed information + Read a passage about a pen pal visit for general or detailed information + Make questions and answers about Lan and Maryam * Vocabulary: corrrespond, impress, friend/friendly/friendliness, mosque, pray, atmosphere, depend on, keep in touch. * Grammar: The past simple with “Wish”. 2. Getting started. - Ask Ss to imagine that a foreign pen pal is coming to stay with them for a week.
