 Many remote areas are getting electricity. 
 The town is becoming busier. 
-> Present progressive to show changes with get and become 
S + tobe + getting/ becoming + adj. 
Activity 3. Practice 
- Ss work in pairs to practice reading the dialogue. 
- Call some pairs read aloud in front of class 
- T corrects mistakes in pronunciation 
- Ask students to read the dialogue between Na and Hoa and get more 
information their ideas. 
- Get students to work in pairs to answer the questions in exercise 2 on 
page 73. (answer the questions a, b, c, and e) 
- Some ss go to the board and write the answer while others do orally 
- T corrects 
a. Na has been to Kim Lien Village. 
b. She was there for the weekend./ She was there for one day 
c. To her, the country side is peaceful and quiet and there is nothing to do. 
e. Country life is becoming better. Many remote areas are getting 
electricity. People can now have things life refrigerators and TV, medical 
facilities are more accessible. 
Activity 4. Production 
Ask ss a question: Do you prefer the city or the country life? Why? 
Activity 5. Consolidation 
T repeats the content of the lesson 
IV. HOMEWORK

 - Ss prepare for next lesson. Unit 8. Speak + Listen.
