Getting started: - Lead in to new lesson. - Introduce the content of the lesson. - Ask Ss to look at the picture in the text book and - Guide Ss to ask/ answer about their lesson schedule. - Give example: S1: How often do we have Math? S2: We have Math 4 times a week. Notice: once, twice, 3 times. - Call some Ss to read their answers in front of the class. - Give the comment. Then give new words if have. 3.2. Listen and read: - Ask Ss to answer questions: + Who are they? + What were they talking about? (Tim’s study) + Is Tim a good student? - Introduce the context/ content of the dialogue. - Let pupils to listen to the tape once. Then give new words and structures. 2.1. Practice the dialogue. - Ss practice the dialogue in pairs. - Call some pairs to practice in front of the class. 2.2. True or false. - Guide Ss to do exercise: true or false. - Call some Ss to give their answers. - Give the correct answers. a/c/e/ - F b/d/f - T V. CONSOLIDATION - Retell the contents of the lesson: the content of the dialogue, new words and the structure. VI. HOMEWORK - Practice the dialogue. - Prepare Unit 5: Speak
