PROCEDURE 1. Organization - Greetings. - Who’s absent today? 2. Check the old lesson - Ss talk about the things they used to in the past - Give the comment 3. New lesson: * Warm up: - Let Ss to play Networks game about the tales - Ss play in 2 groups in 3 minutes. - T gives the comment Pre- reading. - Lead in by some questions: - Introduce the content of the text in the text book. - Give new words. While- reading: Ask and answer. - Guide Ss to do exercise: read the text again and answer. The folk tales - Call some Ss to give their answers. Then give the correct answers a. Skills: Writing skill 3. Attitudes: - Positive about their lesson. - Students know how to learn English. - Ss are interested in doing exercises. 4. Competence a. General capacity: self – study, communicative and collaborative, and problem solving ability. b. Specilized capacity: language capability II. PREPARATION 1. Pre- writing. - Introduce the content of the story - Ask Ss to read the story - Give new words. - Guide Ss to complete the story. - Call some pupils to give their answers. - Give the comment. I told the tiger that I had something called wisdom. The tiger wanted to see it but I said that I left the wisdom at home that day. Then I tied the tiger to a tree with a rope because I didn’t want it to eat my buffalo. I went to get some straw and I burned the tiger. The tiger escaped, but today it still has black stripes from the burn. Post- writing. - Guide pupils to write a story at home. V. CONSOLIDATION - Retell the contents of the lesson. VI.
