- Problem solving and creativity abilities.

b. Special capacity

- English language ability.

Lesson knowledge By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to read and understand the text to answer the questions. + Grammar: - Present simple tense - Comparison + Vocabulary: - typical, period, keen, definitely, lazy. 2. Skills: reading. 3. Attitude - Cooperate with friends in learning activities - Ss often use English to comunicate with friends - Ss are intersted in the timetale for their studying 4. Ability orientationts a. General capacity - Self - control and self-study abilities. - Communication and cooperation abilities. - Problem solving and creativity abilities. b. Special capacity - English language ability. II. Preparation 1. Teacher: Text book, lesson plan, chalks, sub- board, tape. 2. Students: text book, note book III. Methords, techniques 1. Methords - Communicative Approach 2. Techniques - Individual, work pairs, group works IV. Procedure 1. Organization Greetings and checking student’s attendance. 2. Checking the old lesson - Ss read and aswer questions part 1 - T comments and give points 3. New lesson Activity 1: Warm up - Ss discuss to anser the questionsAsk: + What do you do everyday? + Is your work at school hard or ok? + How many hours a day do you study? + Do you have to do a lot of homework? - Ss give more questions Activity 2: Pre - reading - T introduces the content of the lesson and give newwords. - period ['piəriəd] (n) - review [ri'vju:] (v) - typical ['tipikl](adj) - keen on [ki:n]( adj) - lazy ['leizi](adj) - definitely ['definitli] (adv) chaéc chắn, nhất định - Ss listen, peak, read and write - Ss work in groups to predict about these statements. * True or false prediction 1. Some people think that students have an easy life . 2. Students don’t have to work hard at school and at home. 3. Hoa goes to school five days a week. 4. Hoa is not a lazy student. - T gets feed back Activity 3: While - reading - T asks SS to read the text to check their predictions - T gets feedback and corrects 1. True : 2. False : students have to work hard at school and at home. 3. False : Hoa goes to school six days a week. 4. True : - T asks SS to read the text again and answer the questions. - Ss work in pairs - T gets feedback and corrects a) Because they only work a few hours a day and have long vacations. b) Hoa works 20 hours a week . It is fewer than most workers work. c) ( Ss’ answer). d) No, the writer doesn’t think Ss are lazy Activity 4: Post – reading Survey: - Ss make a survey - T gets feedback. How many hours a week You Your friend do your homework ? . Activity 5: Extanding - Ss write a passage similarly talk about a classmate - T gets feedback V. Instruction for next lesson preparation - Learn by heart the new words and grammar - Do exercises at part A4 in the workbook. - Read the text again and answer the questions - Prepare the next lesson: Unit 7: B
