Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to listen and understand a short dialogue about making plan; ask and answer about making plans of vacation. * Vocabulary: Be going to do, vacation, aunt, uncle, to visit, the citadel * Grammar: - Hỏi đáp về dự định dùng thì tương lai đơn: What are you going to do this summer vacation? - I'm going to visit Hue. - "Where are you going to stay? - I'm going to stay...". How long are you going to stay? - I'm going to stay for.... 2. Skills: listening and reading skills 3. Attitudes: - Positive about their lesson. - Students know how to learn English. - Ss are interested in doing exercises. 4. Competence a. General capacity: self – study, communicative and collaborative, and problem solving ability. b. Specilized capacity: language capability II. PREPARATION 1. Teacher’s: lesson plan, text book, tape, pictures 2. Students’: text book, note book III. METHODS, TECHNIQUES 1. Methods: Communicative approach, group Ss and T’s activities, teaching methods with game, teaching methods by practising. 2. Techniques: Eleciting, pair work, individual work, group work IV. PROCEDURE 1. Organization - Greetings. - Who’s absent today? 2. Check the old lesson Call some ss to talk about some activities they often do in each season 3. New lesson Activity 1. Warm up - Chatting with ss - T guides and asks ss to play pattern puzzle. Ss play in groups. - T draws 5 circles and writes 5 letters. Ss use them to write the words. T E A O R Eg: TEA, TOE, EAR, ARE, TO Activity 2. New form of knowledge skills A1. Listen and repeat. Practice - Ss listen to dialogue and repeat - Ss work in pair practice reading dialogue - Call some pairs read aloud in front of class - T comments A2. Answer - T guides ss do exercise - Ss work in pairs to ask and answer. - Ss ask and answer before class - Call ss to write the answer on the board - T corects a. She is going to visit Hue. b. She is going to stay with her aunt and her uncle. c. She is going to stay for week. d. She is going to visit citadel. Activity 4. Further practice Ss practice reading the dialogue and answer the questions again Activity 5. Expanding Remind all main points for ss. to remember and practice at home. V.
