- Would you mind if I + V-ed.?

 3. Attitudes:

 - Positive about their lesson.

 - Students know how to learn English.

 - Ss are interested in doing exercises.

 4. Competence

 a. General capacity: self – study, communicative and collaborative, and problem solving ability.

 b. Specilized capacity: language capability

Organization - Greetings. - Who’s absent today? 2. Check the old lesson No checking 3. New lesson Activity 1. Warm up - Getting started - Ask students to play “Brainstorming” Famous places in VietNam Ha Long Bay ? - To look at the pictures and guess the places. - Ask students to match the names with the pictures (work in pairs) - Asks some ss to give answers. - T and the class correct: 1- c 2- a 3- d 4- b Activity 2. New form of knowledge skills - Present the dialogue: Let students listen to the tape once - Ask students to answer the following questions: Who are talking in the conversation? Do/ Would you mind + V-ing ? Would you mind if + S +V(past simple) ? Do you mind if + S +V(present simple) ? Eg: Would you mind opening the window? - Ask ss to give examples - T corrects. Activity 3. Pratice Exercise 1. Practice the dialogue in groups - Ss work in group of four: practice reading dialogue - Call 2 groups perform in front of class - Others give comments - T corrects mistakes in pronunciation. Exercise 2. True or False - Ask ss to work in pair and do exercise - Ss share answer with others - Call some ss go to the board and write the answer - T and others give comments. a. T b. T c. Further practice Ask Ss work in pair to make question and answer with the word cues. 1. Close/ the door. 2. open/ the window. 3. check/ your / homework. 4. borrow/ your book. Activity 5. Expanding T repeats the contents of the lesson V. HOMEWORK - Ss study the lesson - Ss prepare for next lesson. Language focus.
