- Ask students to play “Brainstorming”

- Present the dialogue: Let students listen to the tape once
- Ask students to answer the following questions:
Who are talking in the conversation?

- Disagreement.(I'm sorry, I can't, I'd prefer you didn't,...........................)

Would you mind if + S +V(past simple) ?
Do you mind if + S +V(present simple) ?
Eg: Would you mind opening the window?
- Ask ss to give examples
- T corrects.
Activity 3. Pratice
Exercise 1. Practice the dialogue in groups
- Ss work in group of four: practice reading dialogue
- Call 2 groups perform in front of class
- Others give comments
- T corrects mistakes in pronunciation.

- Ask ss to work in pair and do exercise
- Ss share answer with others
- Call some ss go to the board and write the answer
